Lets Cook: Cheese and Tomato Scones

These are perfect to have one there own as a snack or with soup.
Although When I made them they where a bit of a fail (I put in too much milk )
*self-raising Flour- 275g (10oz)
*salt- 1/4 teaspoon
*butter- 50g (2oz)
*Dried Basil- 1 teaspoon
*Tomato Puree- 1 tablespoon
 *Milk- 275ml (9fl oz)
*Egg- 1 (beaten)
*crated cheese- How ever much you need to cover the tops

*preheat to oven to 200*C/400*F/ Gas Mark 6
* Put the Flour, Butter and Salt in a bowl.
*Rub the butter in to flour until it looks like fine breadcrumbs.
*Add the Basil, Tomato Puree, half and beaten egg and the milk.
Yum Yum
*Mix until it forms a smooth but not sticky dough.
*On a floured surface roll out the dough until it is about 2cm thick.
*cut in to circles with a cookie cutter or cut in to even rectangles with a knife.
*Place on to a baking tray lined with grease proof paper.
*Brush the top of each scone with the remaing egg.
*place even amounts of grated cheese on top.
*Cook in the oven for 10-15 mins until golden. 
Cooking in our new oven. isn't  that fun?
Best eaten warm if possible.

Even though these where a total nightmair to make (I added all of the milk at once and no amount of flour could stop it from being a sticky mess) they are FAB-U-LOUS

Collection 2000 color match foundation

 I have wanted to do this review for the longest time and i am beyond happy to be getting rid of my old bottle of this stuff. 
I picked it up back in September, I wanted a cheep one for school. Superdrug had it on offer for £4.99. I picked it up in shade 5 Medium. they sell this in 6 shades the first 4 are suitably different but 5 and 6 are a bit more drastic.  
I sometimes find it hard to try new concealer and foundation because i have a very strong yellow undertone to my skin, but this is perfect.

It contains SPF20 which is good for the summer but not so good if you are planing on having a photo shoot with flash photography because it will make your face seem white- but I'm sure you have all heard about that.

As far as doing what is says on the bottle it does provide good coverage and looks natural, I'm don't know about adapting to your skin tone but I matches mine perfectly so not going to complain.
It also says that it has oxygen complex to let your skin breath, I have never found that it is heavy or cakey.
The bottle is frosted glass with a pink plastic pump and pink see through lid, this is one of the things that made me pick it up because it stands out. All the writing on the bottle is the same pink as the pump and lid a very nice touch.
Although I love the pink lip it is so thin it cracks over time being taken on and off the bottle. The base of the pump also cracked over time on both my bottles. 

Once this bottle cracked I was apple to pull it up. Fortunately it is strong so it inst going to come off,  nothing a bit of glue wont fit.

Sorry about the mess on the bottle, the pump on this bottle (the first bottle I got) didn't work very well so if you used it the foundation just went every where. 
Although I had a few problems with the first bottle, they didn't put me off. This is going to be my staple school foundation for a long time to come. 
I recomend this to anyone who is on the market for a good drugstore foundation that lasts a long time and is good value for money.

Lets Cook: Oaty Fudge Treats

Ok so this didn't involve actual cooking with an oven, because Mr Oven died the other day :( but the hob is needed.
I wanted to do some 'baking' tonight because Torii is upset (I'm not sure she wants me to go in to all the details if you know what I mean.) so I wanted to make something that I can bring in to school tomorrow (I always want to put 2 m's and 1 r in that) that will put a little smile on her pretty face.
These did go down very well when I took them in to school the next day

They are super quick and easy to make.
Milk- 150ml (1/4 pint)
Brown Sugar- 450g (1LB)
Butter- 15g (1/2oz)
Salt- Pinch
Vanilla Essence- 1/2 tea spoon
Crunchy Peanut Butter- 175g (6oz)

Porridge Oats- 220g (8oz)
Glace Cherries- 100g (4oz)
White Chocolate Buttons- 70g
We didn't have enough brown sugar so I mixed in some White
1- Put the Milk, Butter, Salt, vanilla essence and sugar in to a pan.
2-Bring to the boil stirring- this bit is a bit tedious.
3-Boil for 2 mins stirring until the sugar has melted

4-remove from the heat and mix in the peanut butter, stir until it has melted.
5-Add the porridge oats and mix in.
6- cut the glace cherries in to 1/4 and mix in
7- place the mixture in to cupcake cases and put the chocolate buttons on top.
8-leave to set.
"Can I have some?"
Told you it was simple.
These look so good I left a not so my brothers dont eat them.
"I can't read, so can I have one?"
